Anglesey mystic rockers Holy Coves announce an Autumn tour in celebration of their forth coming second album. This promises to be epic!

Welsh rockers, Those Damn Crows return to the live circuit to promote new album God Shaped Hole. They’ve been hard at working getting ‘epic’ since Inhale/Exhale and are now beefed up and ready to roll!
The beloved Cardiff noise outfit, mclusky have announced plans to embark on a short tour of UK cities in 2025.
The bands’ Strangers Are Just Friends We Haven’t Monetised Yet Tour is scheduled to commence in May and will comprise five dates, encompassing concerts held in Wrexham, Manchester, Leeds, London and Bristol.
Formed in 1996, mclusky’s original tenure as a band spanned eight years and yielded three widely praised studio albums of which two were recorded in collaboration with late noise rock and post-hardcore pioneer Steve Albini. Subsequent to reforming for the release of a four-song EP and resuming tour activities in 2023, this year the band announced their fourth full-length album will release through Californian imprint Ipecac Recordings in 2025.

Lakesfest restiurns to Eaton castle this summer with its usual nostalgic line up of acts from yesteryear including Echo and the Bunnymen, Busted, Kate Nash, Reverend and the Makers and So Solid Crew amongst others. Paul Oakenfield, Tall Paul and Faithless bring the dance vibes and Miles Hunt will probably bring a flowery shirt or two.

One of the best alternative festivals returns for another all conquering year with this years Truck Festival boasting some of the cream of the indie scene with Kasabian, The Courteeners and Blossoms. Plus the only UK gig for Nothing But Theives. Bloc Party return to the festival scene as does Natasha Bedingfield and the splendid Maximo Park. Everyone’s favourites, The Futureheads add a touch of class and the Reytons add a splash of -up-and-coming-indie-rockers to the great bill. Tickets here
Bassfest returns to the Don Valley Bowl, Sheffield on the 19th and 20th July for a right old rave featuring some of the biggest names in electronic dance music. Hybrid Minds, Aitch, Bou, Andy C, Crucast, Hedex and Shy FX join a cast of hundreds for the biggest rave of the year! Be there!

If it’s not been cancelled due to high winds and rain, Boardmasters is quite simply a spectacle of a festival like no other. Already confirmed this year are The Prodigy, Raye, Wet Leg and London Grammar. More names to be added along the way, but we’ve already bought our tickets! Have you?
Is there any other type of music more suited to the summer sunshine than a bit of the reggae? Absolutely not and Margate (yes Margate) brings you a wonderfully sunny slice of the Caribbean with the likes of Maxi Priest, UB40, Don Lett’s, Pato Banton and the Trojan Sound System.

Black Francis, Joey Santiago, David Lovering and new bassist/vocalist Emma Richardson will play a total of nine shows including two nights at London O2 Brixton Academy.
They also play Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Leeds, Birmingham, Cardiff, Newcastle and Manchester as part of the tour. The Pixies’ tour follows the Friday 25th October release of the band’s tenth studio album ‘The Night The Zombies Came.’

Victorious Festival 2025 lineup
The first 2025 lineup announcement is here, with a mix of Victorious Festival first-timers and some fan favourites returning to Portsmouth. There will be afternoon special guest performances from The Charlatans, Rizzle Kicks and Craig David as well as comedy sets from the likes of Joel Dommett and Ruby Wax.
Why not end your festival year on a rocking high with Sacramento’s Aftershock Festival. Deftones, Kprn, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson and a whole wake of the undead will trounce towards Halloween with what has to be the biggest rock event of the year.
